Tornike Kazarashvili
Member of the Supervisory Board
Tornike Kazarashvili was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of JSC Georgian State Electrosystem in 2023.
Tornike has extensive experience in governance in the energy sector. In 2020-2023 he was the head of Energy Policy and Investment Projects Department at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. In 2017-2020 he held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Enguri Tourist Center LLC. In 2016-2020 he was the Chair of the Board of Directors at Kartli Wind Power Plant LLC. In 2017-2020 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Zestaponi Wind Power Plant LLC.
In 2014-2018 Tornike held various positions at JSC Georgian Energy Development Fund: he was a contractor relationship manager, a member of the project development committee, deputy chair of the project development committee, deputy director/acting director.
Tornike Kazarashvili has Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tbilisi Free University. He has been awarded the Master's degree of the Faculty of Energy and Telecommunications at Georgian Technical University, specializing in project management.
