George Gigineishvili
Director General
George Gigineishvili was appointed as a Director General of JSC Georgian State Electrosystem in 2022.
He has many years of versatile working experience in the energy sector. In 2021-2022 he worked as the Director of Chveshura HPP. In 2018-2020 he was the Director of Chiora HPP, and in 2017-2018 - Shakshaketi HPP. In 2010-2014 he worked in Energosektormsheni LLC, was the Director and Founder of the company. In 2008-2009 he worked as a technical manager of JSC Kavkaselectrokselmsheni. In 2007-2008 he was the Deputy Director of Enimpex LLC. Under his direct supervision, construction and rehabilitation works of many power transmission lines and substations were carried out. In 2002-2007 he worked in various energy companies, holding key positions.
George graduated from the Faculty of Power Engineering of the Georgian Technical University, majoring in power systems and networks.
