Giorgi Gelashvili
Member of the Board of Directors / Director of Procurement and Logistics
Giorgi Gelashvili was appointed as a Director of Procurement and Logistics of JSC State Electrosystem of Georgia in 2022.
In 2020-2022, Giorgi was a counsellor to the Director General of GSE, in 2019-2020 – a counsellor to the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.In 2014-2019, he held the position of a member of the Board of Directors of Georgian State Electrosystem. In 2013-2014, he was the deputy head of the State Security Service Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.In 2012-2013, Giorgi held the position of Deputy Director General in the direction of procurements at Monolith Group Ltd. In 2011-2012, he was the logistics manager of Lisi Horizon Ltd.Also, in 2005-2010, he worked in the direction of procurements and logistics, in the monitoring department of Sandiko Ltd and the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
Giorgi has graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili State University and has been awarded the qualification of lawyer. He also completed a one-year management training course in Athens financed by the World Bank.
