Lasha Khmiadashvili
First Deputy Director General / Member of the Board of Directors / Director of Project Management
Lasha Khmiadashvili was appointed as the First Deputy Director General / Director of Project Management of JSC Georgian State Electrosystem in 2023.
Lasha has long-standing professional experience of working in various responsible positions. In 2022-2023, he was the Director General of MC-Bauchemie LLC, in 2020-2023 - head of one of the departments of Tbilservice Group LLC, in 2019-2020 - Deputy Director of Energotrans LLC, in 2014-2019 - Head of Electromechanical Service of Tbilisi Transport Company.
In different periods he worked in the Ministries of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Economic Development of Georgia. Lasha also has long-standing experience of cooperation with international organizations and international financial institutions. He worked as a Strategic Planning Program Manager of the Council of Europe/the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALAG), as a representative of the UN project "Development of Eurasian Transport Connections" in Georgia, as the National Secretary of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor (TRACECA) in Georgia.
Lasha graduated from the English Department of the Faculty of Communication of the Georgian Technical University. He is a Master of Georgian Technical University. He has completed the "Economics Course for Engineers" of the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, as well as the Strategic Port Administration and Management course organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Public Policy Course of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFCIC).
