Merab Kvirikashvili
Member of the Board of Directors/Director of Security and Monitoring Affairs
Merab Kvirikashvili was appointed as Director of Security and Monitoring Affairs at JSC Georgian State Electrosystem in 2025.
Merab has many years of work experience at Georgian State Electrosystem. Over the past 15 years, he held the position of Head of the Technical Safety and Inspection Service. From 1993 to 2010, he worked as a dispatcher and later as senior dispatcher at the National Dispatch Center.
Since 2011, he has been the Executive Secretary of the Permanent Qualification Assessment Commission and the Technological Violations Investigation Commission at Georgian State Electrosystem.
From 2014 to present, Merab holds the positions of Chairman in the Energy Standardization Committee and the Joint Technical Committee of Transmission Licensees.
Merab graduated from the Faculty of Energy at the Georgian Technical University, specializing in Electrical Supply of Enterprises and Institutions.
Merab holds multiple certificates in occupational safety, internal audit, and project management.
