Rusudan Shamugia

Rusudan Shamugia was appointed as Director of Project
Management of JSC Georgian State Electrosystem in 2025.
She has significant
experience working in managerial positions at GSE. From 2024 to 2025, she
worked as an advisor to a Member of the Board of Directors, Director of Legal, Environmental, Social Affairs and Permits of Georgian State
Electrosystem.
From 2020 to 2024, she served as Head of the Environmental Protection, Social
Issues and Permits Department.
From 2001 to 2020, Rusudan worked in various leading positions: at the Georgian Energy Development Fund as Public Relations Manager, at the Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association (GREDA) as Public Relations and Social Projects Manager. At the State Audit Office, she held various positions at different times including Head of Protocol Service, Head of Press and Public Relations Service, and Deputy Head of Expertise Service, while at the Parliament of Georgia she worked in the Legal Department.
Rusudan Shamugia has completed her studies at the Law and Economics faculties of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, holds a Master's degree in Law, and has obtained a Doctor degree of Public Administration.
