Director General

Vano Zardiashvili was appointed as Director General of JSC Georgian State Electrosystem in 2025.
From 2021 to 2025, he worked as Director of Legal, Environmental, Social Affairs and Permits at Georgian State Electrosystem. From 2020 to 2021, he was a member of the GSE Board of Directors. In 2019-2020, he held the position of First Deputy Director of LLC Energotrans.

Vano has many years of experience in management, legislation, and legal affairs. He was a member of the Parliament of the 9th Convocation, a member of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, a member of the Legal Affairs Committee, and the First Deputy Chairman of the same committee. He was also a member of the State Constitutional Commission.

From 2013 to 2016, he worked at the State Audit Office, holding positions of Head of Internal Audit Department and later First Deputy Auditor General.

Between 2010 and 2013, he worked in the judicial system as the Head of Administration of Tbilisi City Court and Deputy Head of Department of the High Council of Justice of Georgia.

From 2007 to 2010, he held various management positions in Tbilisi City Hall.

From 2004 to 2006, he was an advisor to the General Prosecutor, and in 2004, he served as an assistant to the Minister of State Security of Georgia and the Minister of Justice of Georgia.

Vano Zardiashvili graduated from the Faculty of Law at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a specialization in law. He obtained his doctoral degree in Public Administration from the Georgian Technical University.
