JSC Georgian State Electrosystem continues rehabilitation works on power transmission lines being in the Company possession.
Exploitation and restoration works are being performed on power transmission lines Derchi-Sataflia, Kolkhida-1 and Liakhvi.
The existing damaged sky wire was replaced with new fiber-optic cable on PTL Paliastomi-1 beginning from Samegrelo until Guria Region in 2014. The length of rehabilitated wire was 27km. As for 2015 it is planned to install fiber-optic cable through highland Adjara until Batumi Region and this will finalize mentioned project and the total length of rehabilitated wire will amount to 110km.
This project will enable us to protect power transmission lines from overvoltage and connect SS Batumi-220 to SCADA system through fiber-optic cable.
The project is implemented by PTL Rehabilitation Team of GSE which was formed by the end of 2014 in GSE and has successfully performed complete rehabilitation of PTL Kokhra-2 already.
