Meeting at Technical University
Today, December 22 public meeting was held at the Technical University. Minister of Energy of Georgia Mr. Kakha Kaladze and the Chairman of Management Board of GSE met with the professors and students of Telecommunications Faculty.
The minister spoke about the ongoing processes in energy sector, the use and implementation of renewable energy sources, the importance of investment projects and its progress. Sulkhan Zumburidze, chairman of management board of GSE presented to the audience the company’s ten year network development plan and spoke about the changes made within it. He noted that the country’s transmission network infrastructure enhancement program which is the bases of construction of new transmission lines, substations and generation sources is processing within the time frame.
Minister of Energy and Mr. Sulkhan Zumburidze got acquainted with the projects and equipment designed by the students under grant projects.
Such Public meetings with students will often take place in future.
