Consecutive Working Meeting Held in Frames of Memorandum on Cooperation in Energy Sector
Consecutive working meeting in frames of Memorandum on Cooperation in Energy Sector was held in Batumi, Georgia headed by the Minister of Energy of Georgia Ilia Eloshvili.
The Memorandum on Cooperation in Energy Field between Georgia, Iran, Armenia and Russia was signed by former Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze in December, 2015 in Erevan, Armenia. The Memorandum envisaged expansion of cooperation between four countries in Energy sector.
Mentioned Memorandum envisaged creation of coordination council and working on regional-dispatch center, which will increase effectiveness of power systems of four countries and ability of prompt reaction in emergency situations. Supporting the development of regional cooperation will on its behalf increase investments and will support the establishment of stable, partner relations.
