Delegation from Turkey Visits Georgian State Electrosystem
Joint working meeting of electricity market representatives of Turkey (EPIAS), USAID project G4G coordinator and GSE Management Board Members was held at GSE premises.
Delegation from Turkey was headed by Fatih Iazitas, Market Operation Department Head of EPIAS.
The parties exchanged experience during the meeting and discussed the issues of expanding cross border electricity trade between Georgia and Turkey and the changes to be implemented in this regard. The aim of the meeting was to develop ways for solving technical and strategic difficulties for the purpose of improving trade among two countries.
By the end of the meeting Sulkhan Zumburidze, Chairman of the Management Board of GSE made a presentation regarding projects implemented by the company during last years.
