GSE First Company to Introduce WAM in Georgia
GSE started adoption of WAM – Work and Assets Management System. This project is implemented by German company IPS
WAM is used for accurate, fast and operative management of organizational and technical activity processes of main and ancillary equipment. It will be integrated with programs already operated by GSE such as Assets Management program 1C, relay protection program CAPE, Dispatch Program SCADA, etc.
WAM will study reasons causing instability in and outside the power system. It will enable to plan and operate the works to be done in relation with assets. Each asset then will have its history stating the asset’s viability and validity.
GSE will be the first power company in Georgia adopting the mentioned system.
This project will be completed in 2018.
