GSE hosted the pupils of senior classes
Today, on April 19, GSE hosted pupils of 11th grade from school “Jejili”. The pupils first visited GSE head office and the National Dispatch Centre. They viewed Control Panel equipped with state of art technologies which has no analogue in Caucasus and is responsible for the operative control of energy system. The pupils were introduced to the basic principles of operation of Dispatch Centre and were given a lecture on power engineering in general and GSE’s role in the country’s energy development. After National Dispatch Centre they visited Training Centre of GSE where they saw the Chemical Laboratory and participated in oil disruptive voltage testing and chromatolytic analysis. After conducting the experiments, they visited the training Polygon of GSE. The working environment at Polygon is very close to the real environment where the personnel of substations works. The pupils directly participated in testing processes of different electric devices.
Given the fact that energy sustainability is one of the major factors for the country’s economic strength, GSE’s priority is to inform new generation about it.
Such meetings with school pupils will take place at GSE in future as well.
