Installed Capacity of Georgian State Electrosystem's Substation has Increased

Due to the importance of infrastructure development of the country and considering increasing electricity consumption index per year in the capital, Georgian State Electrosystem has increased the installed capacity of substation Gldani-220.

Instead of two 125MVA autotransformers in the substation, two 200MVA transformers were installed. 16MVA transformers were replaced by two 40MW transformers.

As a project output energy network reliability of the capital will be significantly increased and the consumers will be provided with continuous, high quality and steady energy supply.

Substation Gldani 220 is one of the main substations owned by Georgian State Electrosystem. It provides most parts of the city with energy.
