Upgraded Devices in Substations
Transformer Park at GSE continues to be upgraded. Gardabani substation has already put into operation 40MW and 63MW new power transformers in Batumi. Installation of transformers at the Gurjaani, Navtlugi, Batumi and Khorga substations will be completed by the end of the year. Once the project is fully implemented, the reliability of both the specific region and the country's power system will be significantly increased, users will be provided with uninterrupted, quality and stable power supplies, there will be opportunities for new customers to join the electricity grid, which in turn will facilitate the implementation of infrastructure and other important projects.
