10 September is Energy Day
Today is Energy Day!
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, the heads of the Georgian State Electrosystem and other energy companies congratulated the Georgian energy professionals on their professional day at the Gardabani thermal power plant.
Ucha Uchaneishvili, Chairman of the Management Board of GSE, awarded the following energy workers for their long, fruitful work in the field and significant contribution to the development of electricity: Vazha Metreveli, Advisor to the Director General of the Georgian International Energy Corporation and Gia Arabidze, Professor-Academician of the Georgian Technical University.
GSE staff were also awarded at the Energy Day event.Vladimer Motsikulashvili, Nadim Kvantrishvili and Giorgi Modebadze were awarded the title of Honored Electricity Worker.The joint honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the sectoral trade union were awarded: Daria Kareli, Kakhaber Jikia, Mikheil Kirvalidze and Vazha Gusarishvili.
