500kV Power Line - Lia-1,2 Construction Underway
Georgian State Electrosystem is actively carrying out construction work on the 500kV line Lia-1,2, which will connect the Power transmission line Kavkasioni and GSE-owned Jvari substation.
At this stage, the work of assembling the towers is underway, after which the installation of wires and optical cables will begin. Project implementation involves creation of a flexible and profitable energy exchange grid in western Georgia. The quality and reliability of international and local services will be significantly improved.
