SCADA System Upgrade Testing
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) upgrade project is underway in Georgian State Electrosystem. At this stage, SIEMENS representatives are conducting local testing of the program, in which PWC consultants, along with GSE staff, participate.
SCADA upgrade project implementation has significant role in terms of data measuring, monitoring and remote control of substation data, as updated software ensures more information exchange and efficient dispatch. Transmission grid Strengthening Project is being implemented under the auspices of the World Bank Power and is expected to be completed in 2020.
