Energy Conference
Giorgi Gigineishvili, Director General of Georgian State Electrosystem, attended the energy conference Investments and Alternative Dispute Resolution in Energy sector.
The conference was organized by the Georgian National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission and Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center. Romeo Mikautadze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, David Narmania, Chairperson of the GNERC, and the representatives of the organizations operating in the energy sector, the energy community and donor companies participated in it.
Challenges in the energy sector were discussed at the meetings. Issues related to energy security in the region, investment policy, renewable energy, liberalization of the electricity market and cross-border trade in electricity were also reviewed.
