Georgian State Electrosystem Purchased 25 Generators to Support Ukraine
On the instructions of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Georgian State Electrosystem purchased 25 high power generators to support Ukraine. All generators are of industrial use. They will enable hospitals, catering and other vital facilities to work in an emergency mode.
The government of Georgia made a decision on sending generators to Ukraine on December 9. The total cost of the generators purchased by Georgian State Electrosystem amounted to 1.5 million GEL.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Romeo Mikautadze, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Georgia Andrey Kasyanov and Director General of Georgian State Electrosystem Giorgi Gigineishvili attended the process of loading the generators.
