Education Tour in Substation Menji 220
As part of the education tour, Senior students of Senaki public school N3 visited Georgian State Electrosystem substation Menji 220.
The students visited one of the key energy supply substations of Georgia. It supplies the municipalities of Senaki, Khobi, Abasha, Martvili and the city of Poti with electricity. GSE representatives introduced the students to the substation control system and provided information about high voltage grid operation principles.
Since 2016 Georgian State Electrosystem has been actively conducting an education tour for public students of Tbilisi and different regions, which, first of all, serves to engage the new generation in the energy sector. GSE is focused on introducing ongoing large-scale projects and modern technologies implemented by the company to increasing number of young people.
