Delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem at the Conference Hydro-2023
The delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem participated in the international exhibition-conference, Hydro-2023.
During one of the largest hydropower events, GSE, along with the Energy Development Fund and the company Gruner Stucky, introduced a new model for hydrology forecasting management.
As part of this project, a new hydrological model was developed to plan the generation of hydroelectric power in the Enguri basin and to optimize the management of the Enguri Power Plant reservoir.
Tethys - hydrology forecasting system platform was created, which, in addition to existing mathematical approaches, incorporates artificial intelligence for forecasting.
Georgian State Electrosystem is responsible for managing the platform within the scope of the“Engur Hydrological Initiative Project.
