GSE Conducts Training on Personal Data Protection
In order to help employees understand the new law, Georgian State Electrosystem held a training session on 'personal data protection' for the staff.
The team from the Personal Data Protection Service informed the audience about the changes. The meeting, conducted interactively, delved into specific case examples. The discussion covered various topics including the updated principles and legal bases of data processing, new regulations on information processing, and Institute of the Personal Data Protection Officer, among others.
The Parliament of Georgia has already passed the new law on Personal Data Protection. The majority of obligations and innovations outlined in the law, came into force on March 1, 2024.
