A New Program for Dispatchers Implemented in Georgian State Electrosystem

Georgian State Electrosystem has implemented a new, modern software system for dispatchers. Commissioned by GSE, the company Softx created a universal Georgian product that combines modules for dispatcher applications, telephone messages, operational journals, and annual repairs.
The new system has replaced two products created with old technology, and two completely new functional modules have been added to the system. In the case of the old system, the program modules contained applications that were not accessible for installation by all energy companies. The new web-based system does not require installation, therefore, all companies will be able to join and use the program.
Over the course of four days, during software training sessions, employees at GSE's head office had the opportunity to receive detailed information about the new system and learn about the program's advantages.
The new software system will help GSE dispatchers to conduct their work more efficiently, facilitate faster operation of the energy system, which will ultimately strengthen the reliability of the country's energy system and the reliability of electricity exchange.
