Educational Tour with the Participation of 31st Public School Students at Georgian State Electrosystem

With the start of the new academic year, Georgian State Electrosystem continues its educational tours, within the framework of which students from Tbilisi Public School No. 31 visited GSE's head office.
High school students attended presentations on both the role of Georgian State Electrosystem in the country's energy development and general energy topics, including the development of renewable energy production. The discussion covered achievements and challenges in the energy sector. The meeting was conducted in an interactive mode.
Students visited the National Dispatch Center and got acquainted with its main operational principles. They viewed the Control Panel equipped with the latest technologies, which is responsible for the operational management of the country's energy system.
As part of the educational tour, high school students also visited the "Navtlughi 220" substation, where they received information about the functioning of power transmission lines and substations, and directly participated in the process of checking power transmission lines with various electrical equipment. The students toured GSE's training center, where future energy specialists undergo free internships with employment prospects.
Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from Tbilisi and regional schools since 2016, which primarily serves to interest the new generation in the energy field. GSE is focused on introducing more young people to the company's ongoing large-scale projects and implemented modern technologies. Educational tours for students from various schools are planned throughout the year.
