Energy Workers Day
On the occasion of Professional Day, a celebratory event was held at the "Teleti 220" substation of the "Georgian State Electrosystem". The country's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze addressed the audience with a welcoming speech and focused on the strategic importance of the energy sector for the country. Energetics professionals were congratulated by First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, the Head of the Energy Policy and Investment Projects Department of the Ministry of Economy Jubo Turashvili, the General Director of the "Georgian State Electrosystem" Giorgi Gigineishvili, and leaders of various energy companies. During the celebratory event, employees of the "Georgian State Electrosystem" were awarded and granted the title of Honored Energetics of Georgia for their exceptional contribution to the development of the energy sector: Manana Janezashvili, Mikheil Sartania, and Nodar Gavasheli.
