Agreement between Georgian State Electrosystem and Mitaş Energy
Director of Project Management of Georgian State Electrosystem, Rusudan Shamugia, and Director General of Mitaş Energy and Metal Construction Inc., Volkan Boy, signed a cooperation agreement. The terms of the document were also shared by the companies Stori HPP, Kavkasenergo, and Energoni.
Within the framework of the agreement, the contract formalized on October 20, 2023 regarding the construction of 110 kV transmission line Stori HPP - New Telavi and the connection of the 110 kV transmission line Ikalto to New Telavi substation will be revised. By mutual agreement of the parties, the project will be optimized and financial resources will be used rationally, resulting in a reduction of the agreed value of the aforementioned contract (€12,500,385) by 3 million US dollars.
