Energy Week Black Sea
Member of the Board of Directors of Georgian State Electrosystem, Zviad Gachechiladze, participated in a panel discussion held in Bucharest as part of Energy Week Black Sea. The panel focused on the topic "Modernization of Transmission Networks to Promote Cross-Border Trade and Integration of Renewable Energy."
Zviad Gachechiladze presented on the main directions of Georgia's electrical transmission network development and planned projects, including the Black Sea underwater cable and energy storage battery projects. The discussion also covered other planned projects aimed at integrating renewable energy and promoting cross-border trade.
Energy Week Black Sea was first held in 2020. The event aims to deepen energy cooperation among Black Sea region countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Turkey, and Georgia, to share experiences and jointly discuss challenges in the energy sector.
