Innovative Digital Platform Implemented at the Georgian State Electrosystem
An innovative digital platform - MV-90 xi - has been implemented at the Georgian State Electrosystem. The presentation of the new system was attended by Vano Zardiashvili, Director General of the Georgian State Electrosystem.
The innovative platform represents a significant step forward in the digital development of the country's energy infrastructure and is designed for the automatic collection, processing, and analysis of data from metering devices.
The system is compatible with more than 300 devices from over 50 manufacturers. It provides a high level of flexibility, offers integration capabilities, and increases competition in the electricity metering market.The platform also ensures automatic reading of remote metering devices, data protection, storage, and automatic report generation.
The new MV-90 platform, which fully complies with electricity market requirements, will replace the currently operating metering system Alphacentre at the Georgian State Electrosystem and, through modern technological functionality, integration, and cybersecurity capabilities, ensures the swift and effective resolution of challenges.
The presentation, which was conducted in a question-and-answer format, was attended by representatives of the Georgian branch of the American technology company Itron Inc., GNERC, the Energy Exchange, Enguri HPP, Telasi, Energo-Pro, ESCO, and other energy companies.
