Meeting with Representatives of Austria's Energy Sector
Representatives of the Austrian Embassy's Commercial Office and Austrian energy companies visited the Georgian State Electrosystem, where they met with representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and members of GSE's Board of Directors.
The discussion focused on opportunities and demands in Georgia's electricity sector, as well as ongoing, planned, and prospective infrastructure projects. Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed possibilities for future cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Aleksandre Sokhaze, Head of the Energy Policy and Investment Projects Department of the Ministry of Economy, Ana Gogoladze, Head of the Energy Reforms Department, members of the Board of Directors of Georgian State Electrosystem Giorgi Amuzashvili, Rusudan Shamugia, and Zviad Gachechiladze, and from the Austrian side - Gerhard Lackner, Austrian Trade Commissioner for Georgia, and representatives of the companies INNIO, Jenbacher GmbH & Co, OG VA TECH WABAG, and GmbH Frequentis AG.
