Students from Various Universities at Georgian State Electrosystem
Georgian State Electrosystem hosted students from various universities as part of an educational tour. The students visited the National Dispatch Center, familiarized themselves with its operating principles, and observed the control panel equipped with the latest technologies, which is responsible for the proper functioning of the country's energy system.
Presentations were conducted for the students by Mariam Kukava, Head of the International Projects and Reporting Department at GSE, and Gocha Giorgnashvili, Head of the Operational Management Service of the National Dispatch Center, covering both Georgian State Electrosystem's role in the country's energy development direction, as well as general energy topics, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and the importance of energy independence.
Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours in Tbilisi and the regions since 2016, which primarily serves to foster interest in the energy sector among the new generation. GSE is oriented toward introducing more young people to the large-scale projects underway at the company and the modern technologies that have been implemented.
