Advisory Board Holds Another Meeting at the Georgian State Electrosystem

A regular working meeting of the Advisory Board was held at the head office of the Georgian State Electrosystem.
GSE Director General Vano Zardiashvili and members of the Board of Directors, together with representatives of the business sector, discussed in detail the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects, their completion timelines, and potential changes to grid connection regulations.
The meeting addressed the prospects for implementing ongoing and planned infrastructure projects within the company, as well as opportunities for developer involvement in their execution. Discussions included the design work required for the 39 km section of the Akhaltsikhe–Batumi transmission line project in the Skhalta area, as well as converting the Aragvi transmission line as double circuit and the construction of the Liakhvi line.
The Advisory Board was established on the initiative of GSE Director General Vano Zardiashvili and is composed of representatives from the energy and business sectors. The board aims to foster close and transparent cooperation between the public and private sectors, contributing to the fast and efficient implementation of strategically important infrastructure projects for the energy system.
