Another Working Meeting of the Advisory Council Was Held at Georgian State Electrosystem
At the head office of Georgian State Electrosystem, under the leadership of Director General Vano Zardiashvili, the third working meeting of the Business Sector Advisory Council was held. During the meeting, representatives of the business sector, together with GSE management, discussed all infrastructure projects that are important for the development of the country’s energy system and for the integration of new generation facilities into the transmission network.
Business sector representatives noted that the three-month work of the Advisory Council has been quite productive, and that there is now a real expectation in the private sector that infrastructure projects suspended for years will move into an active phase. Special attention was paid to the progress of the Black Sea Submarine Cable Project, and the parties emphasized that its implementation will serve as a stimulus for the private sector to construct new generation facilities.
At the initiative of GSE Director General Vano Zardiashvili, representatives of various construction companies operating in Georgia in the energy sector also attended the Advisory Council meeting. According to Vano Zardiashvili, Georgian State Electrosystem will be the main partner of Georgian companies in supporting business development.
The Advisory Council was established on November 3, 2025, at the initiative of GSE Director General Vano Zardiashvili, and is composed of representatives from the energy and business sectors. The Council’s goal is to build close and transparent cooperation between the state and the private sector, which will contribute to the fast and effective implementation of strategically important infrastructure projects for the energy system.
