Educational Tour
As part of an educational tour, the Georgian State Electrosystem hosted senior students from Marneuli School “Momavali.”
The students attended a presentation covering both the role of the Georgian State Electrosystem in the development of the country’s energy sector and general topics in energy, including the advancement of renewable energy generation. The students also visited the National Dispatch Center, where they were introduced to its core operating principles. They explored the state-of-the-art control panel responsible for the real-time management of the country’s power system.The practical part of the tour continued at the GSE substation “Navtlughi 220,” where the students received information about the functioning of transmission lines and substations. They also took part in the process of inspecting transmission lines using various electrical equipment.
The students visited the GSE Training Center, where future energy specialists undergo internships free of charge, with employment prospects.The Georgian State Electrosystem has been organizing educational tours for school students in Tbilisi and across the regions since 2016, primarily aiming to increase young people’s interest in the energy sector.
GSE is focused on introducing more young people to the company’s large-scale projects and the modern technologies it has implemented. Educational tours for students from various schools are planned throughout the year.
