Georgian State Electrosystem at the Japan–Georgia Business Forum

A member of the Board of Directors of the Georgian State Electrosystem, Zviad Gachechiladze, participated in the Japan–Georgia Business Forum organized by the Embassy of Japan in Georgia.
In his speech, Zviad Gachechiladze provided forum participants with updates on the progress of the Black Sea submarine cable project and emphasized the key role of the Georgian State Electrosystem in its implementation. He also highlighted opportunities for the involvement of Japanese companies in the later stages of the project’s development, particularly in the production of submarine cables as well as semiconductor technologies.
Zviad Gachechiladze expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador of Japan for the contribution of the Japanese government to the progress of the Black Sea submarine cable project, specifically for the grant components allocated within the framework of the project’s feasibility study, as well as under the “Energy Security, Interconnection and Renewable Energy Program (ESPIRE).”
The forum was attended by representatives of the business sectors of Georgia and Japan, as well as government officials.
