Asian Development Bank Representatives Visit Georgian State Electrosystem
Asian Development Bank's (ADB) Director General, Budget, Personnel and Management Systems Department Yasuo Takamura and Georgia Resident Mission, Country Director Yesim Elhan-Kayalar visited Georgian State Electrosystem.
Within the framework of the visit, guests visited substation Marneuli 500, which was reconstructed by Georgian State Electrosystem in the framework of Regional Power Transmission Enhancement project in 2016 with the support of Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Under the project substation was extended with 500kV switchyard and new 500kV network was created around Tbilisi, which further strengthened the reliability of electricity supply to the capital and Kvemo Kartli region.
