Educational Tour for Senior Pupils of Chkhorotsku Municipality School
In the context of educational tour, senior pupils of Chkhorotsku Municipality School visited Georgian State Electrosystem. Within the tour, the senior pupils visited the National Dispatch Centre at the Head Office of Georgian State Electrosystem, where they were given a small lecture on energy in general and the role of Georgian State Electrosystem in the development of the country's energy sector. After the National Dispatch Centre, the pupils visited the Navtlughi Substation and GSE Training Centre Polygon, where they took part in various electrical equipment-testing processes. The pupils also saw Zemo Avchala Hydro Power Plant (Zahesi), heard the HPP history, and got acquainted with the power generation process. Energy sustainability is the country's economic strength, so the provision of information on this topic to the young generation is one of the priorities for GSE.
