Fiber Optic Cable Installed on Sataplia-1,2 OHL
Georgian State Electrosystem performed fiber optic cable installation works on Sataplia-1,2 OHL.
Within the frame of the project, 20 km fiber optic cable was installed. Consequently, it has become possible to get information in remote mode, improve the management process, increase energy security, and make the transmission network of Georgian State Electrosystem more reliable and compatible with modern standards.
By the end of 2018, Gumati hydropower plants will be connected to the National Dispatch Center by means of fiber optic connection and Georgian State Electrosystem will be able to get information about the status of hydropower plants in real time.
