GSE Educational Tour
Today, on May 4, senior pupils of Tbilisi No 51 Public School visited Georgian State Electrosystem within the frame of educational tour.
The senior pupils arrived at the Head Office of Georgian State Electrosystem to visit the National Dispatch Centre. They saw the control panel equipped with up-to-date technologies, which is responsible for the operational management of the power system. The pupils got acquainted with the basic principles of operation of the Dispatch Centre, and were given a small lecture on the power system in general and the role of Georgian State Electrosystem in the development of the country's energy sector. After the National Dispatch Centre, the pupils visited the GSE Training Centre and Navtlughi-220 Substation.
Energy stability is one of the main factors for the country's sustainable economy, so providing information on this topic to new generation and making young people get interested in the energy sector is one of the priorities for GSE. Meetings with senior pupils will last throughout the year.
