Meeting with the World Bank Representatives
On April 24, within the framework of the World Bank financing "Energy Supply Reliability and Financial Recovery Project” loan negotiations were carried out on allocation of €62 million.
Representatives of the World Bank, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ministries of Justice, Environment Protection and Agriculture and Georgian State Electrosystem participated in the loan negotiations.
The purpose of this loan includes the strengthening of power transmission network through the construction of the 500 kV transmission line Jvari-Tskaltubo and substation plant, as well as the financial rehabilitation of Georgian State Electrosystem and preparation for access to capital markets.
