Reconstruction Works Being Underway on the Ifari-Mestia OHL
Georgian State Electrosystem is carrying out reconstruction works on the Ifari-Mestia OHL located in Svaneti Municipality within the Project of Mestiachala-1 and Mestiachala-2 Connection to the Transmission Grid.
The Project provides for the cutting of 110 kV Ifari-Mestia OHL into the Kakhari-110 SS and the connection of the substation to Mestia-35 SS.
The Project is planned to be completed in April 2019. As a result, 50 MW capacity will be added to the power system of the country.
