SCADA Update Project in Progress at Georgian State Electrosystem
Joint working meetings of GSE staff and SIEMENS company representatives were held at the head office of Georgian State Electrosystem. The purpose of the meetings was to review the functional specifications of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Update Project and its design phase, assess the Project status and plan further steps.
The SCADA Update Project aims to improve the data acquisition, processing and remote management processes, and transit to a completely new level of development in that regard. The software update will allow exchanging more volume of information and ensuring efficient dispatch service.
