Transmission System Operators Meeting at Georgian State Electrosystem
A joint working meeting of Georgian, Azerbaijan and Russian transmission system operators (GSE, AZERENERJI and СОЕЭС) were held at the head office of Georgian State Electrosystem.
At the meeting the possibilities of combining the power circle of three countries was discussed. Transmission system operators planed coordinated steps to enhance electricity connections, also considered regulatory mechanisms for power transmission and technical details of parallel operation.
The combined power circle will significantly increase the sustainability of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Russian power systems and will raise the power quality, reliability and export-import of electricity.
