Visit of Georgian State Electrosystem Delegation to France
From August 25 to August 31 inclusive, delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem led by Sulkhan Zumburidze, Chairman of the Management Board, attended the CIGRE (International Council on Large Electric Systems) session held in Paris, France.
In the frames of the session, GSE representatives participated in technical seminars and meetings, and attended exhibitions, at which the modern world latest achievements in the energy field were presented.The primary goal of the meetings was the future operation of the National Committee of CIGRE-Georgia and the involvement of Georgian engineers in relevant activities or research committees, who will be participating in the study of the most urgent issues in the energy sector together with foreign colleagues around the world.
Official representatives of the National Committee of CIGRE-Georgia held meetings with members of the organization’s management structures, and representatives of the South-East European region and national committees of different countries.The International Council on Large Electric Systems is a non-profit NGO founded in France in 1921 and uniting transmission system operators, manufacturers, experts, universities and distribution companies operating in the energy sector across the world.
