Qualified Enterprises
JSC Georgian State Electrosystem provides transmission-related services in accordance with the licensing conditions, Georgia's Law on "Energy and Water Supply," the rules and conditions stipulated by the "Grid Code" approved by Resolution No. 10 of April 17, 2024 of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, and the "Rules of the Electric Energy (Capacity) Market" approved by Order No. 77 of August 30, 2006 of the Minister of Energy of Georgia.
Georgian State Electrosystem ensures the provision of transmission services to the following qualified enterprises:
- Generation licensees;
- Small-capacity power plants;
- Power plants during the trial operation and/or comprehensive testing period for the purpose of commissioning;
- Direct consumers;
- Distribution licensee, in the part of electricity purchase for the purpose of covering losses in the distribution network;
- Universal service providers;
- Public service electricity suppliers;
- Free suppliers;
- Supplier of last resort;
- Exporters.
