Frequency Control
TSOs achieve Frequency Control through Primary Frequency Control and Secondary Frequency Control.
Primary Frequency Control takes place during the period of up to thirty (30) seconds after the frequency changes.
Secondary Frequency Control takes place during the period from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes after the frequency changes. It is provided by automatic and remote control of power blocks/units.
