Configuration of Separate Sections of 220 kV Ajameti-1 and Ajameti-2 OHLs as Double-Circuit Transmission Lines
The Rehabilitation Project – Configuration of Separate Sections of 220 kV Ajameti-1 and Ajameti-2 OHLs as Double-Circuit Transmission Lines was implemented within the framework of Ten Year Network Development Plan approved by Order No 39 of 8 April 2015 of the Minister of Energy of Georgia as agreed with the Government of Georgia at the meeting held on 26 March 2015.
Under the technical decision taken, connection between Zestaphoni-500 SS and Kutaisi-220 SS was provided with a new 220 kV Ajameti-3 OHL, for which two independent OHLs were configured as double-circuit transmission lines: 220 kV Ajameti-2 OHL from Zestaphoni-500 SS to No 24 Support, and 220 kV Ajameti-1 OHL from No 32 Support to Kutaisi-220 SS were configured as double-circuit transmission lines. After the OHLs were configured, the new circuit of Ajameti-1 and Ajameti-2 was called Ajameti-3.
The Rehabilitation Project – Configuration of Separate Sections of 220 kV Ajameti-1 and Ajameti-2 OHLs as Double-Circuit Transmission Lines was implemented by the OHL Projects Division of Projects Department at JSC Georgian State Electrosystem.
