Contract Title: Supply of Hot galvanized towers for 220kV transmission Lines Sataplia &Adjameti
Reference No. IDA/TGSP/G/ICB/02-20151.
1. Government of Georgia has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the Transmission Grid Strengthening Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments under the contract for Supply of Hot galvanized towers for 220kV transmission Lines Sataplia & Adjameti.
2. JSC Georgia State Electrosystem (GSE)now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply of Hot Galvanized Towers for 220kV Transmission Lines Sataplia &Adjameti.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines:Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, revised July, 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Employer between the office hours 10:00 to 16:00 (local time):

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$300 per copy against presentation of evidence (SWIFT) of the effected bank transfer of the fee (payable to the account indicated below) with application in writing/in person to the address given above. The request must be accompanied by a duly authorized cover letter, clearly stating the name of the company and the country of domicile. Upon request, the documents will be promptly dispatched by a registered post, but no liability can be accepted for loss or later delivery. The bidders may request for an electronic version to be received by e-mail.

- 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before January 11, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on January 11, 2016, 17:00 local time.
